Manager Manual
For managers. Your home is /manager with school-wide stats (courses, students, enrolments) and links to browse. Manager is read-only oversight: you can view everything but you cannot create sessions or courses.
Read-only role
/instructor/sessions the Create Session button is hidden for managers, and on /instructor/sessions/new managers are redirected away. If you need to create something, ask an admin.1. Manager home — /manager (stats + links)
Open your home
Go to /manager. You see school-wide stat cards (Courses, Students, Enrolments — counts of rows) plus links to /admin/courses, /instructor/students, and /instructor/sessions. Only users with role manager can open this page — others are redirected to /dashboard.
2. Sessions oversight — /instructor/sessions (read-only)
Scan sessions
Open /instructor/sessions. You see the same Upcoming / Past split as teachers, but without create buttons. Click any session to see detail, Meet link, and attendance taken.
3. Courses + students oversight
Scan students and courses
Open /instructor/students (grade filter at the top — managers see all students) and /instructor/courses (search + grade pills, per-course counts). Click a course to open its 5 tabs and review chapters, materials, and progress.
4. Dashboard — /dashboard (manager view)
Same 5 admin stat cards (Students, Teachers, Courses, Enrolments, Sessions) + Recent Courses + Courses by Grade, then portal cards. Use it for the daily numbers; use /manager for links.
2. Enrol a student (allowed)
Managers can enrol: inside a course detail page click Enroll Student, pick the student, add the grade if asked, and confirm. Refresh to see the updated Enrolled count.
3. Chat
Open /instructor/chat (shared chat for instructor, admin, and manager). Pick a conversation, type at the bottom, click Send.
