Student guide
Student Manual
For students. Your home is /student. It shows “Hey, your name”, your enrolled courses, announcements, upcoming sessions, and your average score.
1. Your home — /student
Open your home
Log in, then open /student from the sidebar or the Dashboard card. You see 4 stat cards (enrolled, announcements, sessions, average), a courses grid, announcements plus upcoming sessions, and quick links.
Grade not assigned?
/student/courses shows “Grade not assigned”, your profile has no grade level yet. Ask your admin or teacher to set your grade — only then will you see your courses.2. Course list — /student/courses
Open the course list
Click Courses in the sidebar, or go to /student/courses. You see only courses for your grade level, each with a badge: Active (enrolled) or “Not enrolled”.
Open one course
Click a course card. It opens /student/courses/[id] with three tabs: Materials, Grades, Sessions. If you are not enrolled, you see a “not enrolled” page instead of the tabs.
Read inside the tabs
Materials lists PDFs, videos, and links. Grades lists your marks for that course. Sessions lists upcoming live classes for that course.
4. All sessions — /student/sessions (Join live class)
See all your sessions
Click Sessions in the sidebar, or go to /student/sessions. The page is split into Upcoming and Past. Each card shows the date, time, course name, and your attendance badge (Present / Absent / Not marked).
Join the class
On an upcoming session card, click the Join / Meet link button. It opens the Google Meet link in a new tab. If no button is visible, the teacher has not added the Meet link yet — check back later.
Tip
/student/courses and confirm the course badge says Active.5. Materials library — /student/materials
Open the materials library
Click Materials in the sidebar, or go to /student/materials. Use the tabs All, PDFs, Videos, Images to filter.
Open or download a file
Click a material. If Type is “link”, it opens the file_url directly. For uploaded files, the app downloads through /api/materials/download?path=... — the file saves to your device. Videos and images may preview in the browser first.
6. Grades — /student/grades
Open the grades page
Click Grades in the sidebar, or go to /student/grades. The top shows your average score and how many subjects you passed.
Read the semester groups
Grades are grouped by semester (newest first). Each row shows the course title, score colour (green = good, amber = average, red = needs work), and the semester name.
3. Inside one course — /student/courses/[id] (Materials / Grades / Sessions tabs)
How you get here
From /student/courses, click any course card with the Active badge. If the badge says “Not enrolled” you see a “not enrolled” notice instead of content — ask your teacher to enrol you.
